Favorite Blog Posts of June

favorite blog post 2

Hey! So this is a thing I’ve been doing since April, talking about some of my favorite blog posts from this month whether it be discussions, recommendations, reviews, etc.

Let me know in the comments down below some of your favorite posts from this month, ones that you made or other blogs made. I’d like to read more and discover more blogs that need more recognition!! 🙂

PRIDE POSTS

Since June was Pride I’m going to share some of my fave Pride related posts whether they are recommendations, tags, and more!

Melanie @ Mel to the Any shared 15 LGBTQIAP+ recommendations!!

Some more recs from May @ Forever and Everly

Even more Pride Month recs from Aurora @ Aurora Librialis

Another Pride related post from May @ Forever and Everly, the Pride Flag Book Tag! Hoping to actually do this tag soon, even though it won’t be Pride Month anymore.

REVIEWS

Sweet Black Waves review from Pages and Pugs which was excellent.

A 5 star review for The Art of Escaping by Erin Callahan from Justine @ Bookish Wisps! Which honestly got me more excited to read this one!

From Meaghan @ Words Gremlin, a review for Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa, so hyped for this one when it comes out!

A beautiful review for a beautiful book, Starfish by Akemi Dawn Bowman from Dani @ Perspective of a Reader

A review for one of my most anticipated reads, The Poppy War from Kate @ The Backwards Bookshelf. I NEED THIS BOOK YESTERDAY.

Dezzy @ The Thoughtful Voice did an excellent review for Eliza and Her Monsters! Which is one of my current reads. Also a review for one of my fave reads from this year so far, How to Make a Wish!

DISCUSSIONS

Book Allure talks about ARCS and why they are important to international bloggers. I felt that this was such an important and necessary discussion to have within the book community.

Vicky @ Vicky Who Reads talks about privilege in the publishing, blogging and book community especially concerning things such as Booktube and Book Cons, which is highly relevant.

Ally @ Ally Writes Things talks about things she wishes would be more represented. I especially agreed with the mental illness stuff since it’s really relevant to me.

Angelica @ The Book Cover Girl discusses female friendships in YA and the Bechdel test. Very insightful post! 🙂

MISC.

As if I needed any more books to add to my TBR, here are some upcoming 2018 and 2019, Asian-inspired fantasies from Julianna @ Paper Blots that all sound amazing. I’m here fore more diverse fantasies.

Thanks for reading and I hope y’all read these excellent posts and support those bloggers! 😀
