Top 5 Tuesday – Winter Reads

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm

The topic for today is Winter Reads. Since I really haven’t read many winter-y books I decided to make this more of a TBR list.

Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust

I put this on hold way back in July and I should probably read it since its the perfect season for reading this one. This is a Snow White retelling and it also features a F/F relationship!

We Are Okay by Nina LaCour

Another book I put on hold for a while but I’m really excited to read this some more. This takes place in California, during winter break and look there’s snow on the cover!

The Smell of Other People’s Houses by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock

I don’t know too much about this one except that it takes place in Alaska and the cover is quite gorgeous! The title is sounds so cozy.

The Bear and the Nightingale

I’ve had on my TBR for a LONG time and I’ve had many people tell me to read this. So I should get on that, right???

The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey

This sounds so whimsical and fairytale-like. This one I honestly might not be able to get to but I would love to.

  1. I love this list! It’s so wintery and lovely 😊

I adored The Snow Child and We Are Okay, they’re both such atmospheric winter reads. And you already know how I feel about The Bear and the Nightingale ❤️ I really hope you enjoy all of them! Happy reading!
