What books are on your 2019 TBR (if you’ve planned yet)?
Let’s just say A LOT. SO MANY BOOKS. Hopefully very soon (as in December) I’ll be making some of my most anticipated 2019 books and also other books I want to get to next year.
What’s your favourite movie adaptation?
Definitely The Silence of the Lambs. I haven’t read the book yet so I can’t compare if its better than the book, but its one of my favorite movies of all-time.
If you could only name your children after Harry Potter characters, what names would you use? (if you haven’t read Harry Potter, choose your favourite series!)
I’m going to still do this even though I haven’t read Harry Potter but I have seen the films lol. I would name my children after Luna and Ginny.
What’s the shortest book you’ve ever read?
I’m not sure if this one the exact one but I remember having to read The Pearl by John Steinbeck and its very short (96 pages)
Recommend a book you think I’d like
Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi! This is a book I’d recommend to anyone.
What’s your favourite read so far this year?
This is kind of hard to chose but I think I have these I’d consider #1: Piecing Me Together by Renee Watson; Blood Water Paint by Joy McCullough; and The Cruel Prince by Holly Black.
What book did you have to read for school did you enjoy?
I enjoyed The Outsiders as well as The Great Gatsby.
What’s a topic you’ll always read about?
This will sound bizarre but I like reading about cults. They just fascinate me…but not too much because I would never want to join one.
Which book character do you relate to the most?
Probably Jane Sinner from Nice Try, Jane Sinner.
What’s your current favourite TV show?
I’ve been watching Kitchen Nightmares. I enjoy Gordon Ramsey’s no-fucks given attitude and there’s some seriously nasty places featured on the show and really terrible and downright cruel restaurant owners. It’s also the only cooking show I’ve ever really gotten into.
What’s your current favourite book cover?
Difficult question but I think for now I’ll go with this one: An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson. I just finished this one and I liked it a lot. The cover screams autumn!
Now it’s time for me to nominate some people and give y’all some questions!
