Favorite Blog Posts of January

Here’s to another year full of amazing bloggers and posts! This is somewhat late but here it is!

Savvy The Book Royal talks about reading with anxiety and depression and it felt so validating to hear from someone else who goes through the same experiences.

The Caffeinated Bookworm Life shares some blog posts ideas for a whole month of blogging. So useful and I’m so grateful for this post.

If you’re looking for anxiety rep, Reading Parental has a whole list of books with anxiety rep for you!

If you need some journal inspiration here’s a few bloggers sharing theirs:

Books, Trust, & Pixie Dust created a gorgeous moodboard for one of my favorite fantasy reads from last year, Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa. She also did a fairy moodboard which is just as stunning. I adore these aesthetics.

Novels and Waffles recommends some books for 20-somethings (like me) looking for NA books written in YA style. I’m honestly just here for NA to become a much bigger thing.

Aurora Librialis talks about being a bad book blogger and why it’s ok. Number 1) I just want to say that Aurora is an AMAZING book blogger!
Number 2) This post is super validating and there’s a lot of great advice here.

Ace of Bens compares hardback and paperback covers and I love comparing different covers of a book.

2019 is not short of wonderful covers and here’s Motif by Tanya sharing some cover love. I love the diversity in this post.

Sun and Chai discusses femininity in YA in great depth and highlights many of the issues I have sometimes with female characters in YA such as weaponized femininity and the not like other girls tropes.

Starry Sky Books created The Folk of the Air Book Tag! I can’t wait to do it sometime because I am LIVING for this series.

Let me know what some of your favorite blog post were from January and feel free to share the blogger love! 😀
