It’s finally the haunting season, It’s October and here in the US that means everyone is prepping for Halloween!

Halloween is one of my favorite times of year and what better way to celebrate this spooky season with some spooky books?

This isn’t going to be a huge TBR. These are some of my high priority horror reads I want to get to this month (despite already having quite a few arcs and other books I want to read alongside this). I just like to make things harder on myself. 🙂

  1. I have a tond of arcs for october so I am not really getting into the whole spooky mood as much as I’d like. I’ve heard great things about Wilder Girls though, enough so that even I am interested in reading it even though it isn’t quite my genre.

    • Ugh yeah I have some arcs too now that are kind of getting in the way of my TBR so it’s a mess lol.

I’ve seen a lot of people who don’t necessarily like horror enjoy Wilder Girls. It seems like it has some appeal to everyone. It’s also considered weird fiction which was something I never heard of until Jeff Vandemeer’s Annihilation. I’m just glad to see more YA novels like WG.
